Steven S. Kerr, CFA, FRM(Founding Member and Investment Committee Chairman)
Steve has led several underwriting, portfolio and credit risk management teams at world-class financial institutions. During his 20 year banking and credit risk management career, Steve has led Real Estate, Gaming, Media, Private Equity, Public Finance, Infrastructure and Restructuring teams. Steve has structured hundreds of transactions as well as recommended and managed commitments in excess of $20 billion to a spectrum of borrowers ranging from large corporate to lower middle market.
Steve earned his CFA designation in 2001 and his FRM (Financial Risk Manager) designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals in 2006. Steve earned BA degrees in Theater and Political Science from UC Irvine and a MS in Finance from Boston College.
In addition to leading leverage finance transaction teams for 15 years, Bob also ran a venture capital fund that invested in early-stage media and telecommunications companies in New York and Texas. Subsequently to his time in venture capital, Bob formed a company that acquired the operating assets of two high-technology manufacturing entities which he consolidated and grown as the CEO for the last 12 years. Bob earned his BS degree in Economics from Columbia University and a MBA from the Boston College.
